Description: Entries in active state cause a flow to remain programmed with the next hop router specified. If the next hop router goes down, the rowStatus will become inactive. New flows that match this specification will assume this next hop router over any other route directive. This assumes polL4PolicyBasedRouteState value is true.
What is polL4lowControlStatus?
This read-create RowStatus value controls a policy-route entry; while active, matching flows stay pinned to the specified next hop, but the row automatically becomes inactive if that next hop goes down (and this all depends on polL4PolicyBasedRoutingEnabled being true). Admins monitor this status to detect when a policy route has silently gone inactive because its next-hop router failed.
