Description: The first 3 restrictions, allow, disallow, force apply when the filterType is static-entry. When polL2FilterType is addressFilter or portAddressLock, this object does not apply. For securePort, the blockIngress, blockEgress values apply. This object may not be modified if the associated. polL2FilterStatus object is equal to active(1).
What is polL2FilterRestrictions?
This read-create value sets the action for a static-entry filter (allow, disallow, force), or the blocking direction for a secure-port filter (blockIngress, blockEgress); it doesn't apply when the filter type is addressFilter or portAddressLock. Admins set this to define exactly what a given Layer 2 filter does once it matches, such as forcing matched frames out a specific port set.
