What is polL2FilterDesc?
This read-create string (up to 25 chars) documents a Layer 2 filter, conventionally including the creator's IP address and other descriptive detail, and cannot be modified once the filter's polL2FilterStatus is active. Admins use this field to note who created a MAC-based filter and why, which is invaluable when reviewing filters months later.
