ctPriClassifyStatus

Module: CTRON-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-PRIORITY-CLASSIFY-MIB::ctPriClassifyStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.14.6.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Allows the Priority Classification feature to be globally enabled/disabled. A value of disable(2), functionally supersedes the RowStatus of individual entries in the ctPriClassifyTable, but does not change their actual RowStatus value.

What is ctPriClassifyStatus?

This object globally enables or disables the Priority Classification feature on the device; per the source description, disabling it functionally overrides the RowStatus of every individual entry in ctPriClassifyTable without altering those entries' actual stored RowStatus values. Admins use this as a master kill switch to instantly suspend all traffic classification rules without having to remove or reconfigure each rule individually. Setting ctPriClassifyStatus to disable(2), the default, stops all classification rules from taking effect even though the underlying table entries remain configured and ready to reactivate.
