Description: This bit field mask filter will allow only events of certain types to be logged. By default all types will be logged. Clearing event types from this field will cause those types not to be logged. Adding event types to this field will enable those types to be logged.
What is ctdlswEventFltrType?
This is a bitmask selecting which categories of events, such as misc, timer, receive, transmit, event, and error, a filter entry allows through, with all types logged by default. It lets an admin fine-tune log verbosity by category rather than an all-or-nothing choice. For example, clearing the timer(2) bit stops routine timer-expiry noise from filling the log while keeping error(32) events visible.
