nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus

Module: CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Controls the operation of the access control list identified by nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier. Enabled (3) applies the access control list to all DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol packet traffic on the router port for which the entry exists. Disabled (2) prevents the access control list from being applied.

What is nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus?

nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus is a read-write switch controlling whether the access control list named by nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier is actually applied to DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol traffic on this port, with enabled(3) applying it and disabled(2) preventing it from being applied. An admin toggles this to turn routing-protocol traffic filtering on or off on a given port without removing the configured access control list identifier itself. For example, an admin can temporarily set nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus to disabled(2) on this port to rule out the access list as the reason routing updates from a neighbor aren't being accepted.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17.1 i <value>
