nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier

Module: CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the Access Control ID of the access control list in effect for DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol packets on the router port for which the entry exists. A value of 0 indicates that there is no access control list in effect for DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol packets on the router port.

What is nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier?

nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier is a read-write integer specifying which access control list, by its ID, is in effect for DECnet Phase IV distance-vector-based routing protocol packets on this router port, with a value of 0 meaning no access control list applies. An admin sets this to restrict which routing-protocol packets are allowed on this specific port, separate from the general forwarding-traffic access control list on nwDecIVFwdIfAclIdentifier. For example, setting nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier to 8 on this port restricts routing-protocol exchanges on that interface to whatever is permitted by access control list 8.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-DECIV-ROUTER-MIB::nwDecIVProtoIfAclIdentifier.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.3.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16.1 i <value>
