Description: Sets the administrative state of DECnet Phase IV Routing Services on the router port for which the entry exists. Enabled (3) causes DECnet Phase IV Routing Services to become active. Disabled (2) causes it to become inactive.
What is nwDecIVFwdIfAdminStatus?
nwDecIVFwdIfAdminStatus is a read-write switch that turns DECnet Phase IV Routing Services on or off for the single router port identified by this table row, with enabled(3) activating it and disabled(2) deactivating it on just that port. An admin uses this to bring DECnet routing up or down on one interface at a time, without affecting the system-wide DECnet configuration on other ports. For example, an admin troubleshooting a flapping WAN link might set nwDecIVFwdIfAdminStatus to disabled(2) on just that port's row while leaving DECnet routing enabled everywhere else on the router.
