What is nwDecIVFwdCtrHostOutBytes?
nwDecIVFwdCtrHostOutBytes is a read-only Counter tracking the total number of bytes in DECnet packets transmitted by the local host itself, system-wide, aggregated across every DECnet-enabled router port on this device, during the relevant OperationalTime measurement window. This isolates traffic the router itself originates from traffic it is simply relaying, letting an admin distinguish local DECnet management chatter from transit load. For example, a jump in host-originated bytes system-wide without a matching jump in forwarded traffic would tell an admin the device itself, not transit traffic, is generating the extra load across the whole device.
