What is nwDecIVFwdCtrHostInPkts?
nwDecIVFwdCtrHostInPkts is a read-only Counter tracking the total number of DECnet packets successfully delivered to the local host itself, system-wide, aggregated across every DECnet-enabled router port on this device, during the relevant OperationalTime measurement window. Comparing this to the overall inbound count tells an admin how much of the arriving traffic is destined for this router's own applications versus traffic merely passing through. For example, if host-delivered pkts system-wide make up only a small fraction of total inbound traffic, an admin can conclude the device is mostly relaying DECnet traffic rather than consuming it across the whole device.
