Description: Specifies the run-time execution priority of the AppleTalk routing protocol thread. In order for a change of this value to take effect, the AppleTalk protocol (nwAtProtoAdminReset), AppleTalk Routing Services (nwAtProtoAdminReset), or the device running Routing Services must be reset.

What is nwAtProtoThreadPriority?

This read-write INTEGER specifies the run-time execution priority of the AppleTalk routing protocol thread, and like the stack-size object, a change here requires a reset of the protocol, AppleTalk Routing Services, or the device to take effect. An administrator adjusts it to give the routing protocol more or less CPU priority relative to other processes on the router. Raising nwAtProtoThreadPriority on a router handling a large, unstable AppleTalk topology helps ensure route recalculation isn't starved by other, lower-priority tasks.
