What is nwAtProtoIfIndex?
This read-only INTEGER holds the MIB-2 ifIndex identifying which router port a specific AppleTalk routing-protocol table entry corresponds to. An administrator uses it to line up per-port routing-protocol settings and statistics with the correct physical interface. Cross-referencing nwAtProtoIfIndex against the standard interface table confirms which port a given routing-protocol configuration entry actually governs.
