nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS

Module: CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Controls the operation of the access control list identified by nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier. Enabled (3) causes the access control list to be applied to all AppleTalk routing protocol packet traffic on the router port for which the entry exists. Disabled (2) prevents the access control list from being applied.

What is nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS?

This read-write INTEGER (other/disabled/enabled) controls whether the access control list identified by nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier is actually applied to routing-protocol traffic on a port, with enabled(3) enforcing it and disabled(2) suspending it. An administrator uses it to toggle route-filtering enforcement on that port without deleting the underlying ACL definition. Temporarily setting nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS to disabled(2) while troubleshooting missing routes helps confirm whether the ACL, rather than something else, was blocking expected route updates.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclSTATUS.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.17.1 i <value>
