nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier

Module: CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the Access Control List ID of the access control list in effect for AppleTalk routing protocol packets on the router port for which the entry exists. A value of 0 indicates that there is no access control list in effect for AppleTalk routing protocol packets on the router port.

What is nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier?

This read-write INTEGER specifies the access control list, by identifier, in effect for AppleTalk routing-protocol packets on a specific router port, with a value of 0 meaning no such list is applied. An administrator sets it to restrict which route-update traffic is accepted or sent on that port. Pointing nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier at a restrictive ACL on an untrusted port can prevent that neighbor from injecting unwanted AppleTalk routes into the router's table.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTRON-AppleTalk-ROUTER-MIB::nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.2.2.2.3.4.2.4.1.1.2.1.1.1.16.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> nwAtProtoIfAclIdentifier.1
