What is nwAtFwdCtrInPkts?
This read-only Counter totals every AppleTalk packet the device has received, system-wide, during the current nwAtFwdCtrOperationalTime interval. An administrator watches it to gauge overall inbound AppleTalk load on the router. A sudden jump in nwAtFwdCtrInPkts across a normally quiet AppleTalk network could indicate a broadcast storm or a misbehaving AppleTalk device flooding the network.
