Description: Specifies maximum number of directory entries. If zero is selected, the number of entries is unlimited.
What is nwAppnSysMaxDirEntries?
This read-write integer (0-65535) caps the total number of directory entries the node will hold, with 0 meaning unlimited. Setting a hard cap protects memory on a router with many locatable resources, at the risk of rejecting new registrations once the cap is hit. An admin on a memory-constrained router might set this to 1000 instead of leaving it unlimited.
