Description: Specifies the name of the local PU if nwAppnFwdLsSscpSession is set to yes. Valid characters are uppercase A through Z and numerics 0 through 9. The name must start with an alphabetic character. Note: once this parameter is set along with other link station parameters associated with a link station definition, it cannot be modified. In order to change it, the link station definition itself must be deleted and then redefined with the new parameter.
What is nwAppnFwdLsPuName?
This read-write string (1-8 characters, starting with an alphabetic character) specifies the name of the local PU used when nwAppnFwdLsSscpSession is set to yes, and like that setting, it cannot be changed without deleting and redefining the link station once set. This name is what the host references when establishing SSCP-PU sessions with the dependent devices reachable over this link. An admin supporting a legacy 3270 controller over this link would set this to that controller's registered PU name, such as PU0007.
