Description: Specifies the total number of bytes that have been transmitted, during nwAppnFwdLsCtrOperationalTime, on the link for which the entry exists. This includes bytes contained in information (I-frames) and XID BLUs.
What is nwAppnFwdLsCtrOutBytes?
This read-only Counter totals the bytes transmitted out a specific APPN link during the current nwAppnFwdLsCtrOperationalTime interval, including both I-frame data and XID BLUs. Comparing it against the corresponding inbound byte counter helps an administrator see whether traffic on that link is roughly balanced or heavily one-directional. If nwAppnFwdLsCtrOutBytes stays near zero while the link's inbound counter grows, that would flag a session that never gets acknowledged or responded to on the outbound side.
