What is nwAppnFwdIfMtu?
This read-write integer object exists only as a common placeholder inherited from the shared Cabletron Routing Services MIB framework and setting it has no effect on APPN port behavior. An admin should look to APPN-specific size objects such as nwAppnExtIfMaxRBtuSize or nwAppnExtIfDfltMaxSBtuSize instead of this OID for actual MTU-like controls. Writing a value here will not change the maximum frame size the APPN port actually uses.
