Description: Specifies the framing type for the APPN Routing Services port for which the entry exists.
What is nwAppnFwdIfFrameType?
This read-write enumeration specifies the Layer 2 framing type used on this APPN Routing Services port: other(1), ethernet(2), i8022(4), or sync(8). Getting the framing type wrong will prevent the port from correctly exchanging XIDs and data with the attached link, since frame format must match the physical medium. An admin configuring a new Ethernet-attached APPN port would set this to ethernet(2) to match the physical connection.
