Description: This object does not apply to this protocol. It is a common object, inherited from the MIB framework used to provide a common management interface to all the Cabletron Routing Services protocol-specific MIBs. Setting this object has no effect.
What is nwAppnFwdIfControl?
This read-write object exists only as a common placeholder inherited from the shared Cabletron Routing Services MIB framework and has no effect when set for APPN. An admin should not expect writing to this object to change any actual APPN port behavior. Attempts to use this OID to control an APPN port will silently do nothing, unlike similarly-named objects in other Cabletron routing MIBs where it may be meaningful.
