Description: Sets the administrative state of an APPN Routing Services port for which the entry exists. enabled(3) causes the APPN Routing Services port to become active. disable(2) causes it to become inactive. There are various choices for the method by which the port can be disabled, which are enumerated by nwAppnExtIfStopType.
What is nwAppnFwdIfAdminStatus?
This read-write enumeration sets the administrative state of an APPN Routing Services port to other(1), disable(2), or enabled(3), controlling whether that port is active. Disabling a port here can be done with different severities, selected separately via nwAppnExtIfStopType, so this object alone doesn't determine how abruptly the port goes down. An admin decommissioning a WAN port for maintenance would set this to disable(2) after first choosing an orderly stop type.
