What is nwAppnFwdCtrInMus?
This read-only Counter reports the total number of Message Units received across all APPN ports system-wide during the current nwAppnFwdCtrOperationalTime window. It gives an admin a top-level view of total inbound SNA traffic volume without having to sum every individual port counter. A sudden jump in this counter across a routine polling interval would flag a spike in inbound SNA traffic worth investigating.
