What is nwAppnFwdCtrFwdMus?
This read-only Counter reports the total number of Message Units forwarded through this node, system-wide across all ports, during the current operational window. Because forwarded MUs are transit traffic rather than locally originated or terminated traffic, this counter tells the admin how much of the router's load is pass-through routing. A router expected to serve mostly local resources but showing a high forwarded-MU count might be unexpectedly acting as a backbone transit hop.
