What is nwAppnExtIfPortType?
This read-write enumeration specifies the type of line used by the port: nonswitched(1), switched(2), or satf(3). This choice affects which other link-station parameters are valid, since several other objects in this table have constraints that depend on port type. An admin configuring a leased-line connection would set this to nonswitched(1), while a dial-backup port would use switched(2).
