What is portSyncM?
This read-only OCTET STRING encodes the sync-enable status of each of the Master unit's eight ports, one bit per port. An admin uses it to check whether timing-dependent radios connected to specific ports are receiving their sync signal, distinct from raw power state. For example, portSyncM shows Port 2 sync disabled, alerting the admin that the radio connected to port 2 on the master unit isn't receiving the sync signal it needs.
