What is portOnM?
This read-only OCTET STRING encodes the on/off power status of each of the Master unit's eight ports, one bit per port, 1 meaning sync enabled. An admin uses it to see at a glance which ports currently have power. For example, portOnM shows Port 5 as off (0), telling the admin that power to port 5 on the master unit has been disabled, whether intentionally or due to a fault.
