Description: Master Circuit Breaker Trip Bit Code - Master Breaker Tripped Code: 1=Port 1, 2=Port2, 4=Port 3, 8=Port4, 16=Port5, 32=Port6, 64=Port7, 128=Port8 Example: Code 5 means Port 3 and Port 1 Tripped
What is cbTrip?
This read-only OCTET STRING encodes which of the Master unit's eight power ports have tripped circuit breakers, using a bitmask where Port1=1, Port2=2, Port3=4, and so on up to Port8=128, with a code like 5 meaning Ports 1 and 3 tripped. An admin uses it to identify exactly which ports need attention without checking each one individually. For example, cbTrip reporting code 5 tells the admin that both Port 1 and Port 3 on the master unit have tripped circuit breakers and need investigation.
