Module: CTFPS-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTFPS-MIB::fpsInOctets

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.11.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Description: The number of octets received by the FPS.

What is fpsInOctets?

This read-only Counter tracks the total octets received by the FPS forwarding engine. An admin uses the byte count, rather than packet count, to calculate actual bandwidth utilization on the forwarding fabric. For example, dividing the delta of fpsInOctets between two five-minute polls by the poll interval gives the admin the FPS's inbound throughput in bytes per second.
