ctATMPhyRedundPrimaryRevert
Module: CTATM-CONFIG-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMPhyRedundPrimaryRevert
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.2.1.1.1.6
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: INTEGER
Access: read-write
Description: If this object is set to automatic, the primary port will automatically be activated upon identifying it to be valid at any time.
If this object is set to manual, then the currently active port will not change despite identifying the primary port to be valid.
See ctATMPhyRedundActivePort for a description of the relationships between this object, ctATMPhyRedundStatus, ctATMPhyRedundActivePort, and ctATMPhyRedundActivation.
This object is persistent.
What is ctATMPhyRedundPrimaryRevert?
This read-write INTEGER, automatic or manual, determines whether the primary port is automatically reactivated as soon as it is identified as valid again, or whether the currently active port stays active regardless. An admin chooses this to decide whether service reverts to the primary port automatically once it recovers from a failure. For example, setting this to automatic(1) means that once a previously failed primary port is retested and found good, traffic automatically switches back to it without admin intervention.
