ctATMLANEInfoExtTMTrafficDescrIndex
Module: CTATM-CONFIG-MIB
OID (symbolic): CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMLANEInfoExtTMTrafficDescrIndex
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.2.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: AtmTrafficDescrParamIndex
Access: read-write
Description: Defines a traffic descriptor index that matches the index atmTrafficDescrParamIndex in the atmTrafficDescrParamTable defined in the RFC 1695.
NOTE: This table will always be at least of length 1. In this case it will define the traffic descriptor that will be used for every data SVC for this LAN Emulation Client.
NOTE: When this is set it will cause the LAN Emulation Client to restart it's state machine, thus loosing operational status temporarily, thus loosing LAN connectivity temporarily.
What is ctATMLANEInfoExtTMTrafficDescrIndex?
This read-write AtmTrafficDescrParamIndex matches the atmTrafficDescrParamIndex in RFC 1695's traffic-descriptor table, and setting it restarts the LEC's state machine, causing the LEC to lose operational state temporarily. An admin sets this to point a traffic-management queue at a specific configured traffic descriptor's bandwidth and QoS parameters. For example, changing this value to point at a higher-bandwidth traffic descriptor briefly drops the LEC's operational state while it restarts to apply the new descriptor to its data SVCs.

Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.2.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMLANEInfoExtTMTrafficDescrIndex.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.2.1.2.1 s <value>
