ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues

Module: CTATM-CONFIG-MIB

OID (symbolic): CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.1.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This configuration value is used to define the number of traffic descriptors used by this LEC to implement Traffic Mangement. It's value ranges from 1 to ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusMaxNumQueues.

What is ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues?

This read-write INTEGER, ranging 1 up to the value of ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusMaxNumQueues, sets the number of traffic descriptors this LEC uses to implement Traffic Management. An admin sets this to configure how many distinct traffic-managed queues or SVCs a LEC maintains. For example, increasing this from 1 to 4 lets the LEC apply up to four different traffic descriptors to different classes of data SVCs instead of one descriptor for everything.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.1.1.5
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.1.1.5.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CTATM-CONFIG-MIB::ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4.1.2.10.1.6.1.1.5.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> ctATMLANEInfoExtStatusNumQueues.1
