ctDAWanDeviceLastDisconnectText

Module: CT-DAWAN-MIB

OID (symbolic): CT-DAWAN-MIB::ctDAWanDeviceLastDisconnectText

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.52.4497.16.2.1.24

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-only

Description: ASCII text describing the reason for the last call termination. This object exists because it would be impossible for a management station to store all possible cause values for all types of interfaces. It should be used only if a management station is unable to decode the value of ctDAWanDeviceLastDisconnectCause. This object will be upctDAted whenever a call is started or cleared.

What is ctDAWanDeviceLastDisconnectText?

This read-only DisplayString, up to 255 characters, gives an ASCII text description of why the last call to this peer terminated, intended as a fallback for when a management station cannot decode the raw ctDAWanDeviceLastDisconnectCause value, and updated on every call start or clear. An admin reads this human-readable text directly rather than needing to look up numeric cause codes for the interface type in use. For example, this field might simply read 'Remote end busy' for a peer entry, sparing the admin from decoding the corresponding ISDN cause code.
