What is maxPidsNumber?

This read-only integer reports the maximum number of PIDs the device's hardware can track simultaneously. An admin uses this ceiling to determine how many more elementary streams can be added across all programs. For example, a facility multiplexing many HD channels with multiple audio tracks each would watch this limit closely since PIDs get consumed quickly.
