activePidsNumber

Module: CROSSSTREAM-MIB

OID (symbolic): CROSSSTREAM-MIB::activePidsNumber

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4962.2.1.2.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Active number of PIDs running in the system

What is activePidsNumber?

This read-only integer reports how many PIDs are actively carrying data on the device at present. An admin compares this to usedPidsNumber to identify PIDs that are configured but not actually streaming, which often indicates a stalled elementary stream. For example, a video PID showing as configured but not counted in activePidsNumber would point the admin toward a broken encoder feed.
