What is suppBrdStarfireIndex?
This read-only integer is the index value that uniquely identifies a row in the Starfire support board table, letting SNMP tools enumerate each installed support board separately. An admin managing a multi-board Starfire chassis relies on this index to correlate the voltage and temperature readings that follow, such as suppBrdStarfire3p3VDC1Temp, with a specific physical board. For example, polling index 2 alongside its associated readings tells the admin exactly which support board's power-supply temperature is being reported.
