OID (symbolic): CPQSANAPP-MIB::swSystemName
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.151.11.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-write
Description: Fabric Element Name
What is swSystemName?
This read-write DisplayString (up to 255 chars) is the Fabric Element Name identifying a SAN fabric device such as an HSG80 controller, switch, or appliance managed by this MIB. Admins use it to label and recognize a specific fabric element in a SAN made up of many similar devices. For example, an admin sets this OID to 'SAN-Switch-Core1' so the device shows up under that name in the SAN management application.
