What is cpqRackServerBladeSystemBIOSFlashingStatus?
This read-only INTEGER (other/normal/flashing) reports whether the blade's system BIOS is currently in the process of being reflashed, defaulting to other(1) if undetermined. Monitoring software checks this before assuming a blade that suddenly stops responding has actually crashed, since a BIOS flash in progress explains a temporary outage. For example, seeing flashing(3) on a blade right after a scheduled firmware push tells the monitoring system to hold off alerting on that blade's brief unavailability.
