This enumerated value specifies whether a described fan is physically present in the enclosure: other, absent, or present. It lets a management application distinguish an empty fan bay from a genuinely installed fan when reporting on enclosure cooling. For example, a monitoring rule would skip health checks on a fan slot where cpqRackCommonEnclosureFanPresent reads absent(2) rather than falsely reporting it as failed.
