Description: The Lower Limit of the remote temperature; if UpsEnvRemoteTemp falls below this value, the UpsRemoteTempBad alarm will occur.
What is upsEnvRemoteTempLowerLimit?
This is the administrator-configurable lower threshold for the remote temperature sensor; if upsEnvRemoteTemp falls below this value, the UpsRemoteTempBad alarm fires. It lets staff define a cold-threshold specific to wherever the remote sensor is physically placed, separate from the UPS's own ambient limits. For example, a remote sensor mounted near an outdoor-adjacent loading dock might use a lower upsEnvRemoteTempLowerLimit than the main server room's ambient limit.
