Type: INTEGER

Description: The reading of a remote temperature sensor connected to the UPS or SNMP agent.

What is upsEnvRemoteTemp?

This is the temperature reading from a separate remote temperature sensor connected to the UPS or its SNMP agent, distinct from the ambient sensor built into the UPS's own location. It lets an admin monitor temperature at a different point, such as inside a specific rack or a different part of the room. For example, a remote sensor placed near a dense blade enclosure could report upsEnvRemoteTemp rising even while the general room ambient stays normal.
