What is upsEnvNumContacts?
This is the number of dry-contact inputs listed in the UPS's contact table, ranging from 1 to 1024, and it equals the row count of that table. It tells a management application how many upsContactIndex entries to expect when polling the UPS's auxiliary contact inputs, such as door sensors or water detectors wired into the UPS. For example, upsEnvNumContacts reporting 4 means the UPS has four configured contact inputs to walk and check.
