Description: A label identifying the Contact. This object should be set by the administrator.
What is upsContactDescr?
This is a free-text label, up to 63 characters, that an administrator assigns to identify what a particular contact input is wired to. It exists purely so a human reading contact status later knows which physical device each contact represents rather than just a number. For example, an admin might set upsContactDescr to "Rack Door - Row 3" so that alerts on that contact are immediately meaningful.
