What is cpqCmcsetAudibleAlarm?
This read-write enumerated value controls the CMC's general audible alarm behavior: enableSilence(2) lets the CMC's own button silence an active alarm, disableSilence(3) prevents silencing via that button, and off(4) disables the audible alarm entirely; per-event audible alarms are configured separately in the setup-events group. An admin in a noise-sensitive data center might set this to off(4) globally while still controlling individual alarms elsewhere. If technicians complain about a loud buzzer they can't silence at the CMC front panel, an admin checks whether cpqCmcsetAudibleAlarm is set to disableSilence(3) and switches it to enableSilence(2).
