What is cpqCmcThresholdFan2Hysteresis?
This read-write integer (1-20) is the hysteresis value subtracted from cpqCmcThresholdFan2 to determine when Fan 2 shuts off after sensor 2 has cooled. It keeps Fan 2 from switching rapidly on and off near its start point, which would otherwise be noisy and could shorten fan life. With a Fan2 threshold of 85 and a hysteresis of 8, for example, Fan 2 stays running until sensor 2 falls to 77 before it stops.
