Description: Enable or disable unlocking of the rack-door with external components like keypad or remote input. With this command the management station can set the conditions for unlocking the door: (2) unlocking is disabled, no unlocking with keypad or remote input (3) unlocking with keypad or remote signal (both) is enabled (4) unlocking with keypad (only) is enabled (5) unlocking with remote input (only) is enabled Unlocking door with the cpqCmcSetLock1Lock-command does not depend on this variable

What is cpqCmcSetLock1Key?

This read-write enumerated value controls whether door 1 can be unlocked by external keypad, remote signal, both, or neither, independent of the network-management unlock command in cpqCmcSetLock1Lock. An administrator uses it to restrict physical unlock methods, for example disabling keypad access while still allowing remote-input unlocking. Setting this to enableKeypad(4) only would mean staff can badge in at the rack's keypad but a remote-input trigger elsewhere would not open door 1.
