This read-only integer (0-100) reports how many entries currently exist in the CMC's internal event log. An administrator checks this count to know the valid range for cpqCmcLogIndex when walking through the log table, and to notice when new events have been recorded. A jump in this value between polls tells an admin new cabinet events, like a door open or temperature excursion, have occurred and are ready to be reviewed.
