Module: CONV-MIB
OID (symbolic): CONV-MIB::cxFwkDestAlias
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.495.2.1.6.8.2.1.8
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Alias
Access: read-write

Default Value: none
Note: The system defines two default entries; their respective values are PRIMARY_DEST and BACKUP_DEST.
Related Parameter: The name must equal a destination alias defined using the object frpCircuitAlias in the FrameRelayCicuitCfgTable.
Configuration Changed: administrative
What is cxFwkDestAlias?
A read-write textual alias, up to 16 alphanumeric characters, identifying the destination frame relay circuit that this convergence circuit connects to. This alias must match a destination alias defined elsewhere via frpCircuitAlias, so an admin uses matching names to keep the primary and backup destination circuits correctly linked. An admin setting up a backup path would name a circuit's cxFwkDestAlias "BACKUP_DEST" to match the corresponding alias defined in the frame relay circuit table, ensuring failover routes to the intended destination.
