A read-only status string reporting the health of the Contivity's route policy engine, which controls conditional or filtered route advertisement. A malfunctioning route policy can cause routes to be advertised or withheld incorrectly, so an admin checks this when routes appear in the wrong place or fail to appear where expected. If routePolicyStatus reports an Alert value right after a policy change, the admin would suspect the new policy failed to apply correctly rather than assuming the underlying routing protocol is at fault.
