What is cmm4SnmpAccessSubnet2?
This read-write DisplayString defines the 2nd of up to ten subnets, in x.x.x.x/y CIDR notation, that are allowed to reach the CMM4 over SNMP. An admin uses several of these entries together to permit SNMP polling from more than one management network, such as an office subnet and a separate NOC subnet, without opening access to the whole internet. For instance, setting cmm4SnmpAccessSubnet2 to 10.20.0.0/24 would let only hosts on that specific management VLAN poll this unit's SNMP agent.
